Laneway Festival Singapore 2011
On a VERY wet yesterday, my friends and I trooped off to catch Singapore's first Laneway Festival. What was most amazing about the experience was the audience - despite the almost continuous downpour, there was a good crowd from 2pm all the way till 1am, all sloshing and dancing and having fun in the rain and mud.

hansel's AW10 Lily the Lady animation video by Msxi.
Zi Xi aka Msxi has collaborated with hansel twice before, once for an art exhibition and the other was her cool animation video for Robot Girl. The video below is the one she just did for our AW10 "Lily the Lady" collection and is being shown on our lovely big TV in The hansel Shop. You simply must learn more about this utterly talented young artist by reading her online profile, and view her online portfolio. I heard from Zi Xi that recently she had just completed a series of illustrations for a new gelato bar located in the east coast of Singapore, called Coccogelo. I am sure Zi Xi's career as an illustrator will take her to much higher heights very very soon!

Vintage Aigner bag.
Met a friend for tea today and she was carrying this vintage Aigner bag that she had found in her mother's wardrobe.
Beautiful.

Beautiful.

Mind the slope.
Does anyone have any idea why a homeowner would tape a bright yellow "SLOPE" on the slope outside his gates??? (Apart from making accidental cool urban art, that is.)
