hansel for Anlene printed luggage bags

Have you seen these around your neighborhood?

In your local supermarket...

At the bus stop?

Or on YouTube?

Those are three of the ways that Anlene Singapore has publicized about the custom designed printed luggage bags that I have created for Anlene!
(I am especially proud of the "hansel for Anlene" detail on the handle.) :)

Anlene targets the female consumer and wanted to emphasize that you need strong health (and bones) to pursue your passions, so I developed a print design that show women doing different types of activities in pursuit of their passions, ranging from traveling to baking to cycling! Here are some of the hand-drawn sketches made during design development.

I hope you get the opportunity to redeem the bag! If you do, post some photos of you using the bag and either email them to me or post them on Instagram and tag JOSOH_HANSEL. (Thank you!) Here's one I found on Instagram:

hansel Audi Fashion Festival 2014 show.

On Wed 15 May 2014, with the support of Sony Xperia mobile phone, I showed a preview of the hansel AW14 "Fairy Lights" collection at Audi Fashion Festival 2014. Here are some snaps of the super exciting event!

Backstage at the show, checking through the line up of outfits…

Addy Lee, celebrity hairstylist and owner of the Monsoon chain of hair salons, personally looking after the high pony tails of the hansel models.

This is the line up that we use to check that the models are in the right outfits and in the right sequence.

A quick pose with Addy Lee amidst the backstage mayhem.

All of hansel's original printed fabrics are developed from my hand drawings. This season is all about the quintessential symbol of celebrations  - the fairy lights! This black/cream print in particular is named "String Lights".

I had some trompe 'l'oeil fairy lights "necklaces" printed details.

Some of the trompe l'oeil fairy lights "necklace" details were created by embroidery and rhinestone embellishments, such as this cardigan (worn as a button down top).

Here the embellished trompe l'oeil fairy lights coil around a cut-out in the back of a knit dress.

This printed rayon jersey design is called "Coiled Lights".

This one is simply called "Fairy Lights"!

My opening and closing girl was Katherine Rigby, winner of Supermodel Me Season 4!

The hansel girls do a group selfie before exiting the runway - a nod to my dear sponsor Sony Xperia! ;)

I was SO nervous when I stepped out to take a bow I hardly remembered anything from the moment afterwards!

I felt a lot calmer once the show was over! These are some of the guests from that evening. From left to right, Baoling, the campaign model for my SS12 Tiers of Joy collection, Stephanie Carrington, me and Nikki Muller.
